Teaching lesson

Teaching Video - part 1 Teaching Video -part 2 In Term 3 Liz Kane came to visit. She observed me teaching and recorded the lesson. In this lesson, I had responded to the feedback I had been given previously and adapted my lesson.

Sharing the learning

Seesaw is regularly updated to show progress and share learning with the whanau.

Taking the learning further

In class we had been learning about bees. Letty went home and talked about it and her grandad gave her a book and frame to share with the class. This gave Letty a great opportunity to celebrate and share her knowledge.

COL PD 27th August

I chose to go to the PACT workshop as part of our COL PD. I had lots of thoughts about what this would look like if we were to implement it at KNS.

Te Reo Maori

In terms 2 and 3 I attended Te Reo classes to further develop my confidence and Teo Reo skills. From these classes I started to implement more daily te reo phrases and vocab. I also learned my pepeha.

Cook Island Language Week

During Cook Island language week I extended an invitation to Ryder's family to come in and share about their whanau and their Cook Island culture. Ryder's Grandad and Dad came in.
